Best Seats For a Concert at MetLife Stadium

On the Field: Sections Field 1, Field 10, Field 11 and Field 12 are Field Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, field sections are added or removed.

MetLife Stadium is an open stadium but there is cover from row 36 - 45 in sections 121-131, 101-106 and 146-149.

If tickets are marked as an “obstructed” or “limited” view, the venue (not the seller) has determined that those seats do not have a full view of the stage, field, court, ice, etc.

The average section in the 100 level has between 14 and 30 seats per row. The average section in the 200 level has 24 seats per row. In the 300 sections, there are up to 31 seats per row.

Seen more concerts at MetLife than football games. The last one was ACDC, and they rocked the place. My only complaint was that the vocals were not loud enough so the music drowned out the lyrics.

For games or concerts scheduled after 4:00 PM, it's much easier to find a seat in the shade. Most seats on the west (visitor's) side of the field, as well as sections behind the south end zone, will be shaded for most or all of the game. If you're looking for sun, stick to the east (home) side of the field.

MetLife Stadium feels like it aspires to be an office building, which makes sense once you go inside. Nearly everything inside is some shade of gray. There are four shades of gray for the seats. The columns are a sort of gunmetal gray.

Metlife Stadium, though, is not one of those stadiums. With no roof, the stadium is totally exposed to the elements.

Obstructed view seats are those with a pole in the middle of view, and the stage visible on either side of pole. Partial view seats are those with a pole blocking a portion of the stage.

Don't worry, obstructed view tickets are clearly labeled as such at time of purchase. You may see other labels like No Stage View, Video View and Listening Only indicate that the seats have no view of the stage. The Event Organizer makes these tickets available because for many fans the view isn't a problem.

The Best Seats at MetLife Stadium

First, in my opinion, whether you sit on the Giants side (sections 109 to 117) or the visitor side (sections 134 to 143) some of the best seats are in sections 135, 136, 137, 112, 113, and 114. Putting aside the coolness factor, the best seat would be between rows 10 and 20.

The MetLife Stadium Club Level is located on the second seating deck. This includes sections 207C-220C and 232C-245C. These seats are part of the Mezzanine Club and this status affords ticketholders some additional perks.

Typically, Preferred Seating offers closer seats to the stage. For example: It can seat you to closer sections (see the images below). It can seat you within a section, it might take you to the front rows while Amex Seating or Member Onsale seats you would put you farther back.
